The challenge
Tracking crypto prices usually means jumping between an exchange app, a charting site, and a market cap tracker just to answer one question: what's this coin doing right now. I wanted a single, fast view of the market, from the biggest movers down to coin-level price history, without the clutter of a full trading platform.
The approach
I built the frontend end to end on top of a live market data API:
A live ticker of trending coins on the homepage, pulling current price and 24-hour change on load.
A searchable, paginated table of the top 100 coins by market cap, with price, 24-hour change, and market cap columns.
Per-coin detail pages with a description, rank, and an interactive price chart switchable between 24-hour, 30-day, 3-month, and 1-year ranges, rendered with Chart.js.
Currency switching and a consistent dark UI styled with Tailwind CSS across every view.

The result
A single dark-themed dashboard for scanning the crypto market and drilling into any coin's price history in a couple of clicks, built as a focused exercise in consuming a real third-party API and turning market data into clear, chartable views.
